Let yourself be tempted by this half-day excursion departing from Athens and explore Cape Sounion at dusk!
Your tour will begin along the river in Athens by luxury vehicle. During the journey, admire a number of landscapes of the Saronic Gulf Islands including the Hellinikon Olympic Complex, Glyfada, Vouliagméni or Varkiza.
Once arrived in Cape Sounion, a National Greek Park, visit the Temple of Poseidon that dates back to the 4th century BC. You will be impressed by the location of the site at the farthest point of the Cape, looking out at sea.
Cape Sounion has always been an important place in Greek mythology and history. The site is mentioned in Homer’s "The Odyssey", and in countless other legends and popular lore. The impressive temple reflects the importance of the God Poseidon for ancient Greeks.
At the end of your trip, enjoy a glass of wine while you admire the sunset over the sea from a breathtaking vantage point.

Les explications de la guide étaient intéressantes, le site est effectivement magnifique surtout avec le coucher du soleil, le vin était bon!
