Discover New Zealand's amazing wildlife through a day trip and a guided excursion down to Rotorua!
After leaving your hotel in Auckland a minibus will take you to Rotorua. During the journey we will pass through the following places:
- Waikato: Travel through the country's largest dairy region with its magnificent landscape
- Waitomo Caves: Guided tour of the fantastic shimmering caverns for 45 minutes and take a boat trip to Glowworm Cave before enjoying a picnic
- Rotorua: a city which is located in a volcanic crater
- Te Puia Maori Centre: enjoy a Maori dance show which will include the famous Haka
- Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve: Bubbling mud pools and amazing geysers
A minibus will take you back to Auckland at the end of this excellent tour.

- Duration: Approximately 12h40
- Departure time: 7:30am (pick up from your hotel between 6:35am and 7:10am)
- To take part in this activity simply present your booking voucher to the local tour operator
- Return to Auckland around 8:00pm
- The tour is free for children under the age of 5 years old becuase they are able to sit on their parents' laps
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
