Go on an adrenaline-filled half-day out and raft down the Bow River!

Tackle the waves and class 3–4 rapids of the Bow River as you raft down the rough waters of Horseshoe Canyon. The most adventurous among you can even do some cliff jumping!

Over the course of your adventure, you will be able to take in the stunning landscapes of Banff National Park.

  • Seasonal activity: Available every day from mid-May to mid-September (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: 4 hrs. approx. – 1 hr. 30 mins to 2 hrs. of which spent in the water
  • Location : meeting point at Bow River, the address will be indicated on your confirmation
     
  • Don’t forget to wear your swimsuit under your clothes and to bring a towel and a change of clothes
  • Please inform your guide if you suffer from any medical conditions
  • This activity is not suitable for children under the age of 12 years
  • Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Each participant must weigh between 40lbs/18kg and 350lbs/158kg to take part in the activity
  • You will raft on class 3–4 rapids, which are suitable for intermediate rafters
  • You are advised not to bring your camera on the raft, but you may bring your GoPro
  • The local service provider will ask each participant to complete a disclaimer before taking part in the activity
