Enjoy an extraordinary experience seeing manta rays at night in Hawaii!
As night falls, you'll board a boat in Keauhou, on the east side of Big Island, which will take you to the best spot to see manta rays. You'll enter the water accompanied by a guide who will explain how the experience will unfold, and who will be there with you to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. You will be equipped with a mask and snorkel to get the best view of them.
Manta rays feed on phytoplankton which are very attracted to light. To attract the rays and see them up close, a platform will be put in the water with a light to illuminate the seabed. You can hold on to this platform and enjoy the show.
