If you're fascinated by the world of witchcraft, don't miss out on a visit to the Salem Witch Museum!

Located around 30 minutes from the centre of Boston, this museum traces the history of witchcraft and witch hunts throughout the ages. You will learn all about the origin of the Salem witches and the 1692 trials through an exhibition featuring life-size waxwork models.

You can also experience an exhibition on different views of witches around the world and throughout history. At the end of your visit, don't forget to visit the gift shop for some bizarre and unexpected witch's tools!

  • Open: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Recommended duration: 1 hour 15
  • Opening times: from 10am to 5pm (and until 7pm in July and August)
  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher at the museum entrance
  • The multimedia show with waxwork dolls takes place every 30 minutes
  • Warning, due to its popularity during October, you are requested to arrive before 12pm in order to exchange your voucher for a ticket for the first available showing
  • Languages available for the multimedia show: English, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese
  • The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, and closes at 3pm on 24 and 31 December
  • If you have booked a ticket at senior rates, you will be asked to present a piece of ID when you arrive
