From Florence, set off to discover the Cinque Terre National Park and discover four of its five villages!
After meeting your tour leader in the early morning near Florence train station, you'll depart by bus for the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You'll discover these villages suspended between sky and sea on your own, renowned for their Mediterranean landscape home to pretty little coves and colorful houses.
You'll start by discovering Manarola, known among other things for its terraced vineyards. You'll have the opportunity to stroll freely through its picturesque alleyways, admiring its panoramic views andthe church of San Lorenzo.
Just a 10-minute train ride away, you'll find one of the most beautiful villages in the Cinque Terre Park: Vernazza. You'll have some free time to relax on the harbor of this fishing village, including a chance to observe the castle of Doria and church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia.
The excursion continues by train to Monterosso, renowned for its extensive beaches and vegetation. You'll be free to relax on the beach and stroll through old Monterosso. You'll also be able to enjoy a bite to eat and sample some local specialties (free lunch or optional).
If you choose the full option, to finish, you'll travel to Riomaggiore by ferry, where you'll visit the village freely. You'll take time to wander its streets and admire various churches among which, the church of San Giovanni Battista.
You'll return to Florence by coach at the end of the day.
