Board for an unforgettable cruise on the Bosphorus and discover Istanbul from a new angle!
You'll start your day with a bus pickup at one of the reserved meeting points.
You'll then take a bus tour along the Golden Horn, a natural haven that was home to the first Byzantine settlements. This historic district was home to various communities, including Byzantine Jews and Italian merchants. You'll see remarkable sites such as the metal church of St. Stephen, the Jewish hospital Or-Ahayim, the Orthodox patriarchate of Fener and the imposing 22 km-long Byzantine walls.
Your tour will continue with a visit to the Egyptian Bazaar, also known as the Spice Bazaar. You'll be intoxicated by the bewitching aromas of spices, fruits, vegetables and flowers on offer in the local stalls.
Then, you'll board a boat and set off for a cruise on the Bosphorus, the strait separating Europe from Asia. You'll have the opportunity to photograph marble palaces, wooden villas typical of Ottoman architecture, and luxurious modern residences. You'll also pass the Rumeli Fortress, a former military fort.
During this cruise, you'll also get a view of the imperial gardens of Yıldız Palace, the Bosphorus Bridge linking the European and Asian continents, as well as Beylerbeyi Palace.
