Explore Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover and the Greenwich Peninsula on a day trip from London!
You'll first reach Leeds Castle. Built on two islands in the middle of a lake, the castle has been home to many kings and queens, including Henri VIII. You'll enjoy early entry, allowing you to be the first group to enter the castle. You'll discover the chapel, galleries, courtyards and banqueting hall.
You'll then drive through the town of Douvres, known for its port, 12th-century castle and white cliffs. Depending on traffic conditions in or near Dover, you'll have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of these famous white cliffs and enjoy the view.
You will then travel to Canterbury, the center of one of Europe's most important medieval pilgrimages, and can visit its cathedral (optional), famous not least since the murder of Thomas Beckett in 1170.
You'll continue your excursion to Greenwich, a town famous for its maritime attractions. You'll be able to admire the Cutty Sark, the fastest sailing ship of its time.
