Discover the Wild West with this 5-day tour of the American Wild West!
Day 1: California coast
You'll leave Los Angeles and head up the California coast. You'll stop in Santa Barbara, where you'll discover a former Spanish mission that had a major influence on the development of the region. Then on to Solvang, home to a Danish community. After a stop in Solvang, you'll continue on to Carmel, home of actor/director Clint Eastwood. You'll then continue your exploration of the California coast to San Francisco, where you'll spend the night.
Day 2: San Francisco
After a good night's rest, you'll begin your exploration of San Francisco with a cruise around the bay. You'll pass under the famous Golden Gate and around Alcatraz Island. You'll then spend the afternoon visiting the city and its famous landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Union Square. Your day ends with a night view of San Francisco from the Bay Bridge.
Summer day 3: Yosemite National Park
You'll leave San Francisco for a natural wonder: Yosemite National Park. With its lakes, waterfalls, lush forests and giant redwoods, Yosemite is an unforgettable place.
Winter day 3: Monterey
We leave San Francisco and head for Monterey. Here you'll discover the boat docks and "Cannery Row". Before heading to the town of Carmel for a shopping spree and a visit to the galleries.
Day 4: Death Valley and Las Vegas
Make way for the desert! This day takes you through Death Valley! You'll cross the desert, stopping at the Nevada border for a shopping break. In the evening, you'll arrive in the city of gambling and sin: Las Vegas. You'll visit the city and its main street, the Strip. Admire the legionnaires at Caesar's Palace, the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Sphinx at Luxor. In the evening, treat yourself to one of the city's many shows, or try your luck at the Casino.
Day 5: Hoover Dam
On the last day of your Wild West tour, you'll leave Las Vegas to discover the Hoover Dam. This impressive dam was built to control the flow of the Colorado River and generate energy for this desert region. A true marvel of human creation, the Hoover Dam is both a historical and technological monument. The bus then heads back across the desert to the coast and Los Angeles.
