Located in the heart of the Allianz Riviera (the large city stadium), the National Sports Museum immerses you in the great history of sports in France through an exhibit of various exceptional objects, unprecedented accounts and interactive displays!

Permanent exhibit:
With over 45,000 objects and 400,000 documents, the Sports Museum houses one of the most important sports and athletic collections in the world. The permanent exhibit focuses around challenges and, thanks to an innovative and immersive itinerary, you will be able to re-live the most beautiful and remarkable athletic exploits of each generation. Dive into the history of sports and feel the combining emotions of effort, teamwork and victory!

Temporary exhibit:
In addition to the permanent collection, the National Sports Museum also includes a hall over 500 square metres dedicated to temporary displays.
With 3 exhibits per year, the museum offers visitors the chance to plunge right to the heart of a given theme or a current affairs topic.

When booking, you will be asked to choose from the following options:

  • Admission to the National Sports Museum (non-guided tour): 1 exhibit (the permanent OR temporary exhibit)
     
  • Admission to the National Sports Museum (non-guided tour): 2 exhibits (the permanent AND temporary exhibit)

  • Availability: Tuesday to Sunday (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Opening times: 10am / 11am to 5pm / 6pm (depending on the period)*
  • Departure point: The welcome reception of the museum in Nice
     
  • Access to the museum is valid all day
  • Accessible for wheelchair users and people with disabilities and reduced mobility 
  • The museum’s exhibits are accessible free-of-charge every 1st Sunday of each month from October to April
  • The opening of temporary exhibition is reported to 2021, the permanent exhibition is  the only available
     
  • Please note /!\ : During game matches in Allianz Riviera stadium, the museum will close exceptionally one hour before the beginning of the match

* From April to September: 10am - 6pm // October to April: 11am - 5pm
