Enjoy an electric mountain bike tour through the sacred lands of Hawaii's Kualoa Nature Preserve!

Kualoa is on Oahu island in Hawaii and is an untouched preserve where lush green valleys border rainforests and impressive rugged mountains. Numerous ancient Hawaiian beliefs and traditions have given this area, now a nature reserve, its sacred status. Respect for the environment and educating people about these customs are essential to the preservation of this reserve. 

You'll explore the Kualoa Nature Reserve on an electric mountain bike. You'll follow your guide and learn more about the region's history. You'll enjoy a tour in the middle of nature, where you can appreciate the valley's silence. You can cycle at your own pace and take your time to admire the scenery: the valley's lush green scenery and mountains that contrast with the blue sky and ocean. If you get tired, you can rely on your bike's motor to take the strain and adapt its speed accordingly.

  • Availability: every day (except under exceptional circumstances)
  • Times: variable depending on the duration of your tour and the season you go; you'll be asked to select a time slot. The exact time will be confirmed after you book
  • Meet-up point: Kualoa Ranch, or pick up at your hotel in Waikiki
  • Particpants must be at least 10 years old
  • Please take into account the following height and weight restrictions (in order to have the right safety harness and braking system):
    - Height: between 1.37 m and 2.00 m
    - Weight: between 38 and 114 kg
  • Your group will consist of a maximum of 10 people
  • For your safety and that of other participants, you must know how to ride a bike to participate in this excursion. A safety briefing and a cycling test are undertaken before each tour. If you can't demonstrate your ability to cycle safely, you'll be asked to take another form of transort or to stay at the venue and wait for the tour to finish. No refunds will be offered.
  • Please note that this is a beginner-level tour. The bikes aren't noisy, but you still have to pedal. The electric motor is to boost your speed. The bikes have front suspensions
  • The tour duration includes the safety briefing
  • Pickup from your hotel in Waikiki is available for an additional fee (please select this option when booking)
