Tour San Diego on board a Duck Boat: a quirky vehicle that travels by land and sea!

Depending on the season, the tour will start either at Seaport Village or close to the Star of India.

Climb aboard the Duck boat and drive along San Diego Bay. The route takes in the USS Midway aircraft carrier, the Maritime Museum, the magnificent Star of India ship, Lindbergh Field airport and other sites of the city. Your tour guide will be on hand to tell you all about the different attractions you pass. 

Then comes the moment when the Duck boat "dives" into the bay – your tour bus will become a tour boat and you won't even have to leave your seat! 

Cruise along the calm, crystal-clear waters of the bay admiring the North Island Naval Air Station and the town of Point Loma with its beautiful houses aligned on the hill. You may also catch sight of sea lions, cormorants, great herons or pelicans on the way!

Back on the road, the tour will finish at Seaport Village.

• Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
• Duration:  1 hour 30 minutes approx. (30 minutes on land / 1 hour at sea)
• Language: English
• Time: There are between 3 and 5 Duck boat tours a day, normally from 10:00am to 4:00pm (or 5:00pm). The departure schedules are variable, there will be a telephone number on your voucher which you can call to find out the exact schedule and book your seats for your desired timeslot. Your hotel reception should be able to take care of this phone call for you
• In order to take part in this activity, you must present your voucher to the service provider on the day
• The Duck Boat tour is a sightseeing tour: individual stops are not possible
• The itinerary is subject to change depending on the weather conditions
• This tour is wheelchair accessible
• Babies and young children can stay their parents' or guardians’ laps.
• It is possible to leave pushchairs at the reception counter. However the service provider cannot be held responsible for loss or theft of personal possessions
